10 Students from University of Lucknow Placed at HCLTech; Total Selections Reach 43

Lucknow: In a significant achievement, ten final-year students (Batch of 2025) from the University of Lucknow have been selected by HCLTech, one of India’s leading IT companies, during a campus placement drive organized by the University’s Central Placement Cell.

Congratulating the selected students on this milestone, Prof. Alok Kumar Rai, Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. A.K. Singh, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, and Prof. Anoop Kumar Bharatiya, Director of the Central Placement Cell, extended their best wishes for the students’ bright future.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Rai stated, “This achievement is not only a matter of pride for the selected students but also an inspiration for all students striving with dedication. It is a testimony to your hard work, perseverance, and unwavering focus. When the goal is clear and the determination is strong, no destination is too far. Let this be not the end, but the beginning of a new chapter in your journey.”

Dr. Himanshu Pandey, Additional Director of the Placement Cell, shared that the selection process at HCLTech was comprehensive, involving resume shortlisting, aptitude testing, technical interviews, business HR rounds, and campus HR interviews, where the students demonstrated exceptional performance.

Among the selected candidates, seven B.Tech students — Rahul Verma, Harsh Sharma, Suraj Kushwaha, Manas Singh, Mahendra Pratap Gautam, Harshit Shukla, and Nancy Raj — have been offered the position of Graduate Engineer Trainee with an annual package of INR 3.25 lakhs.

Additionally, Vartika Chauhan from BCA, Agamjot Singh Chawla from BBA, and Shankhini Srivastava from B.Com have been selected as Graduate Trainees with an annual package of INR 2.4 lakhs.

Dr. Pandey further informed that, with the latest selections, the total number of students placed at HCLTech through the three-phase recruitment initiative conducted by the Central Placement Cell has reached 43, marking a significant success for the University’s placement efforts.
